PTE

The Pearson Test of English (PTE) is a computer-based English language proficiency test. It's designed for non-native English speakers who need to prove their English skills for study, work, or immigration purposes in English-speaking countries like the UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the USA. Here's a short description of its key features: Computer-Based: The entire test (Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening) is completed on a computer in a single session. AI-Scored: PTE uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) for scoring, aiming to provide unbiased and objective results. Fast Results: Test results are typically available very quickly, often within 2 days. Integrated Skills: Many questions assess multiple skills simultaneously (e.g., listening and then writing a summary). Real-Life English: The content focuses on academic and real-life scenarios, including various accents. Duration: The PTE Academic test typically takes around 2 hours to complete. Score Scale: Scores are given on a scale of 10 to 90 for each skill, as well as an overall score. In essence, PTE is a convenient, efficient, and increasingly recognized alternative to other English language tests like IELTS and TOEFL
